Bella Kara in Portage, MI was opened in 1999 by owner and sole operator, Linda Perez. Through in-person training and apprenticeship under Bella Kara Skin Care in McAllen, TX, Linda successfully acquired her esthetics license which she promptly transferred to her home state of Michigan. Shortly thereafter, the doors to Bella Kara in Portage, MI opened.

My name is Linda Perez and I am the owner and licensed medical esthetician, of Bella Kara in Portage. Sí, hablo Español!
The name Bella Kara is Spanish for Beautiful Face.
Since deciding to follow my dream of becoming my own boss and opening Bella Kara in 1999, I have enjoyed not only helping hundreds of clients with their skin concerns, but sharing my education with them as well. I really try to make my passion for skincare evident with my clients through positive and personal experiences that are tailored specifically for each person’s unique needs. Making a visible difference in my clients skin, mood, and smile is something I really take pride in.
Continuing education is important for me – in the last 25 years I have added numerous certifications to my portfolio including many which require an advanced esthetician license which I have acquired and continue to practice under Dr. Fam, founder of Biomani Scientific Skin Care.
When I am not at work you can find me cooking, spending time with my close friends and family, taking long walks with my dog Charlie, or getting a massage.
